Who Am I?
I’m Kai.
For the majority of my life, I’ve wrestled (literally and figuratively) with the idea that I had to neatly fit into a box. I’ve worked in food service, retail, consulting, accounts receivable—you name it. And while those jobs taught me a lot, they also drained me. The standard 9–5 culture always felt exploitative and suffocating, like it was squeezing the creativity right out of me.
And ironically, I’m writing an About Me section to define myself when the hardest part of my journey has been trying not to put myself into a box.
Starting KaiMe2theMoon wasn’t just about launching a business, it was about reclaiming myself. I wanted to build a life where my passions for travel, fashion, writing, and even the things I geek out over like anime, theater, and philosophy could all live under one roof. For years, I felt stuck trying to categorize myself into one “profession” when the truth is, I’m many things: a thinker, a planner, a creator, a traveler, a fan of expression in all its forms.
This brand is my way of turning that chaos into something meaningful. It’s about more than selling trips, clothes, or consulting services. It’s about building an avenue for expression, for myself and for others who feel burned out by the traditional work culture. I know what it’s like to feel like your energy is being used up by systems that give little back. That’s why one of my long-term goals is to use this platform not just to create cool experiences and products, but to provide aid to those who are overworked, overlooked, or in need of humanitarian support.
Being neurodivergent has shaped the way I see the world. I approach travel advising, merchandise design, and event consulting with the belief that every detail matters, every perspective counts, and that expression isn’t optional but VITAL. This is a brand rooted in creativity and dedicated to community. My hope is that KaiMe2theMoon grows into a collective of people who believe in alternative solutions, fresh ideas, and living with passion instead of exhaustion.
At the end of the day my business is my way of saying: we don’t have to do things the way we’ve been told. We can build something different. Something better.
